The “CVET Case Study and extended Needs Analysis” identifies the needs of job agencies, migrant organisations and training organisations in assessing the needs of migrants and refugees in connection with CVET (Continuous Vocational Education and Training) and APL (Accreditation of Prior Learning), in the participating countries: Austria (AT), Greece (EL), Italy (IT), Switzerland (CH), Sweden (SE) and the United Kingdom (UK). As different sectors are significant for labour market development and dynamics in each country, the local research was conducted with a focus on the following sectors: Agriculture (CH, IT), Construction (IT), Health (SE, UK), Retail (AT, CH), Services (SE, UK), Textile (IT) and Tourism (AT, EL).
The report gathers results from 104 surveys from relevant fields of expertise in partners’ countries, desk research on local context of migrants, target-sectors and national schemes for CVET and APL. In addition, 13 case studies provide the necessary info for the app design developed under the second output of the project.
At the end of the report a set of needs and recommendation are identified to support the development of the MiGreat! training modules.
The report is downloadable in the Outputs section.
